RISavers is a new retirement savings program, sponsored by the Rhode Island Office of the General Treasurer.

Here in Rhode Island, 40% of private-sector employers do not offer retirement benefits.¹ RISavers was created to help bridge our state’s retirement gap.

RISavers is also available for:

  • Rhode Island workers whose employers do not offer a workplace retirement plan

  • Self-employed individuals

  • Others who want an easy way to save in a Roth Individual Retirement Account (IRA) they can take wherever their career leads
